As a collaberation with HKU, BNNVARA invites dutch animation students to make a short animation, withing the span of two weeks, about various historical happenings and people. This is made for their quiz-show 2Voor12. I worked together with a classmate to make a funny yet relevant animation about belgian bicyclist Helene Dutrieu.

On this short i worked with storyboarding, layouts, character design, rough animation but mostly making backgrounds and compositing. During this my classmate worked on cleanly animating all the shots
For the backgrounds we decided we wanted a vintage cutout postcard feeling. I composited everything with tracking and effects in AE.
